Work Experience

Approximately 3 years of my childhood was spent in Stockton, California, where the culture was rich with people of many nationalities. Pacific University was across the street from our home. As a child, I did a little of cherry, potato picking, topping onions a couple of times out in the farm fields, and raking leaves in our neighborhood was what I considered fun! My parents considered the importance of teaching good work ethics, everyone had chores and we were always rewarded.

At the age of fourteen I began working as a car hop.

After that I worked as a waitress and in a few years I worked my way up to becoming assistant manager for a local restaurant.

I helped with two food catering jobs. I once voluntarily catered a wedding reception for approximately 250 people in attendance with about a 2 week notice for Anthony Cardenas, Physical Therapist, and Sharon.

I've had many wonderful experiences learning from each job that I had.

I have worked with children in elementary school for 1 year, 2 children's nurseries, numerous churches, and for 3 years I sponsored and paid for 90 children to attend a Christian youth camp for one week. I taught Bible Studies weekly in my home for 1 year for teenagers.

I had an exceptional opportunity to care, nurture and love a very young child for 1.5 years. I often had him on the weekends.

I also worked for Advent Home for Youth. The children were between the ages of 12 - 18 who had ADD, ADHD, and challenges. Dr. Blondell Senior used to work for Honeywell Company as an International Motivational Speaker before he started Advent Home for Youth. Dr. Senior

wanted to pass the baton on to me.

I promoted world renowned Celebrity Chef Mark Anthony in Raton, New Mexico on November 1, 2012. Mark toldme twice, "I'd really like to work with you." On August 7, 2016 Mark offered me a job to train and equip me to take over his business when he retired.

Elderly care for a mentally challenged adult, and a couple of other adults. I also cared for Cecil L. Carter for 11.5 years voluntarily. Cecil was a World War II Veteran. He passed away on November 9, 2017.
